New Years resolutions

Lately, I've been totally slacking off, not exercising as much as I should, and also eating too much crap.
So as a New Years resolution, I'll be starting my new diet and exercise regime in January.
Diet:
I bought this book, called The High Protein Diet by Dr. Charles Clark & Maureen Clark.
The diet gets good reviews, and seems quite nice.
In the first phase you can't have things with a lot of refined carbs (only 40 grams a day is allowed), like grains, fruit, sugar, etc but you're allowed to eat virtually unlimited amounts of veg, poultry, egg, cheese, meat, fish, seafood, and more.
So it sounds I won't go hungry and still get to eat really nice foods.
The trick is to limit the refined carbs, that way you also limit your insulin production.
Insulin is the hormone that regulates carbohydrates and fat metabolism.
My goal is to lose about 25 kilo's (3st 13.1lb or 55.1 lbs) to get to my ideal BMI of 21 and weight of 50 kilo's (7st 12.2lb or 110.2lbs) on my 155 cm (5'1") frame.
Exercise:
I really like using aerobic dvds in the comfort of my own home, so far I have lost 35 kilo's by doing just that (and eating sensibly).
But I want to introduce some more fun to my regime.
Wii fit was fun for 2 days but then I got bored as well.
My sister bought some games and I watch her try one out that looked like so much fun.
So I ordered that, it's called My Fitness Coach - The Dance Workout by Ubisoft.
Unfortunately it'll arrive after the 25th, so I have to wait for it.
I also ordered a hula hoop.
As a child I loved hula hooping and hearing about it becoming a fitness rage (some people claim it burns as much as 100 calories in 10 minutes!), I decided to buy a special weighted adult hoop.
After reading some reviews about  "massage hoops" I decided not to go with those as they cause bruising and pain.
So I chose one by a brand called Gaiam, which is foam covered, weighted and can be taken apart for easy storage (and it comes with a dvd).
To accompany this hula hoop, I also ordered the dvd Heart Hulaerobics.

What are your New Years resolutions?

Neon & Pastel Frenzy

Yesterday I was browsing ebay.co,uk for rollerskates, as I want to get into that next spring, with my sister as skating buddy.
Then I found these and fell in love:
How cool are these babies?
It reminded me of a fashion style from Japan that I love and want to try out, it's called Fairy Kei.
It's very sweet, very pastel and very 80's inspired.
I think I'll be trying that look this spring/summer for rollerskating.
Fairy Kei icon Tavuchi (the owner of Spank!) is a great inspiration.

She's very recognisable with her sea green hair and big glasses.
Really cute huh?!

I found some cute clothes from Jill punkxloli's shop http://stores.ebay.com/Mystere-Wonderland.Jill has a very nice shop, I've bought from her before and she was very friendly and sweet and my order took only 3 days to arrive all the way from Taiwan!!

Then there's Refuse to be Usual's ebay shop, they also have some *really* cute items.

I'm making a second post with shoes and accessories soon, cause no outfit is finish without those ;)

Midori IW replica violin bag

I've wanted this bag for quite some time now, and was able to join a Taobao grouporder organised by a very nice Dutch lady.
Ordering from Taobao seems quite difficult, as it's in Chinese and you need a shopping service to place an order for you.
There are many shopping services out there but so far I haven't used one myself yet.

The Midori bag is a replica of the Japanese brand Innocent World, which makes beautiful classic lolita clothing.
The original bag was embossed with Innocent World on it (hard to tell from the small stock pics), of course the replica isn't embossed but otherwise perfect.
Now I can't compare with the original bag, but I do think the overall quality of the replica is very good, and I'd give it a 5 out of 5 rating.
These are stock pictures of the authentic IW bag:

And here's the replica:

It's beautiful isn't it?
I paid under €40 euro's for this.

First post ever.

Hi everyone, yes that means all you 3 readers ;)
This will be my first blog post, it won't contain much interesting things yet but I promise some reviews on things like nailpolish, Chocomint jewellery, Bodyline and a Innocent World violin bag replica soon.

Here's a little more info on me, as I didn't want to clutter my bio with too much crap.
I'm currently jobless, single and living in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands.
I have a cat, she'd about 3 years old and she was adopted from the pound, her original name was Sientje but I really disliked that old fashioned granny name so I quickly renamed her Shiva after one of my favourite summons from Final Fantasy and of course, the Hindu god.
Most days I'm at home, with her by my side, and to kill time I watch tv, and mostly browse the internet, sometimes shop.
I really love fashion, my style varies a bit but I mostly like what's considered alternative styles such as gothic and lolita but sometimes I choose comfort over style and wear warm clothes, as the weather can be quite harsh here in the Netherlands.
Often I order my "normal" clothes from the UK company called New Look, they offer nice clothing of generally good quality at great prices.
My favourite kinda clothes come from all over the world though, often Japan!
I quite like Bodyline, I know a lot of people think badly about them cause they do have a lot of questionable cosplay-ish items but a lot of the other clothing and shoes are great, my favourite print has got to be their pony carousel and their Alice in Wonderland print.
One day, when I have a job, I hope to be able to get myself some brand (or burando as we call it) like Angelic Pretty, Metamorphose Temps de Fille, Alice and the Pirates and Baby the Stars Shine Bright!
But right now, I can't even afford it when it's second hand :(
I got a major obsession with shoes and handbags (like so many women do) and my collection is ever growing.
Another passion of mine is make-up, I just love getting all dolled up, putting on eyeshadow and lipstick so do expect some reviews on that as well.
I'm also on a weightloss journey, I already lost about 35 kilo's (that's 5,7 stones or  77 lbs) but still want to lose some more.
Currently my size is a UK12/14 but I'd like to bring it down to at least a 8/10 or more.
I try to eat sensibly and exercise, I fell of the wagon a bit but going to start again after the weekend!
So I'll be doing one of my Rosemary Conley dvds daily again.
Then there's also gaming, gaming is awesome in my opinion, and I play Guild Wars almost daily, so give me a shout if you want to tag along or go questing with me, my characters name is Winter Leviathan.

That's it for now!
